The duo formed by French pianist Bruno Belthoise and Portuguese pianist João Costa Ferreira will present a four-hand piano programme entitled “From the Exotic to the Macabre”, featuring works by Bizet (Jeux d’enfants), Saint-Saëns (Danse macabre), Victorino de Almeida (Ballade for a child who is about to be born) and Armande de Polignac (One thousand and one nights).

At the invitation of the Consulate General of Portugal in Paris, and in partnership with the Camões Institute, the Town Hall of Paris’s 17th arrondissement will open its doors on Thursday, December 4th at 7:00 p.m. for a concert entitled “Christmas to the Sound of the Portuguese Piano”.

The program features works for solo piano and piano four hands by António Fragoso, José Vianna da Motta, Sérgio Azevedo, Luiz Costa, Armando José Fernandes, and António Victorino D’Almeida.
